Like I hadn't typed enough for today, I have more to add. ::bows before Li-chan:: Thank you! thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!! DOMO ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU!!!!! Excel Saga rules!!! I have simply one reason to believe so: OKIAYU RYOUTAROU!!! K's voice! Shigure's voice! Koinosuke's voice! GOD'S VOICE! ... am I getting carried away? I don't care! He RULES!
But putting him aside (after some major fits of 'not-wanting-to'), the anime rules all by itself. The humour is fantastic! >D Since the DVD is part way through the series, I'm a little confused, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. But I looked up some info and... well... this quote says it all (for me) really:
"This is no time to get excited about seeing a urinal for the first time"
I gotta get more, even if I do have to get it with my own money. This coming from me just shows you how hooked I am! ;)
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try and relax with some GetBackers so I'll actually get some sleep tonight, instead of hyperness over Okiayu Ryoutarou-san! Maybe GetBackers isn't exactly the most relaxing anime, but anything's calmer than Excel Saga (except Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu, but Jungle is in a league of it's own in my opinion! :P ). Plus, I want more Akabane! ;) ME (again... I'm everywhere these days! ;) )

Camping with yokels? Gah! Them and their "big ol' lump o' cheese" that they didn't even bloody eat! It just melted. I'm sure it's still edible though. ;) ::groans:: Saku and Funk... they're both impossible. Even Li-chan joined in! Gyaaaahhhh!!! :S
But ignoring the constant obsession with cheese, it was fun. I have a whole in my foot as proof I had fun. Certainly Saku's definition of fun for me anyway. :S But I've had larger injuries from other 'adventures' before. Really it's just a little scratch, but it's bloody painful to walk on! :'(
Why do I get the impression I'm not making this sound like I enjoyed it? Not true! Even although I'm exhausted, I'm still kinda hyper. Just as long as I don't have to move. ;) Here goes accounting for the time spend on the little trip...
Woke up really early (then decided I wanted more sleep so got up again 10 minutes later ;) ) and got myself ready, showered and packed. Ok, my packing takes 5 minutes. Look in cupboard, "nope, nope, nope, need, nope, nope, want, nope, probably should have but really don't want, nope, nope". Then turn to drawers and grab some underwear and the most colourful pairs of socks! Ja jan! I'm finished! ;)
Got a lift to Saku's (twice. forgot damn pills the first time. blasted things! Can't wait to get off of 'em!) and they are barely up themselves. But my mum, either really bored and feels like a drive or... ::thinks really hard:: ...well, I guess she's got that 'nice' characteristic that I never have picked up. ;) Anyway, she offers to give us a lift, and amazingly, everything actually fitted into the tiny little car. :D Least we didn't need to pay for a bus or train! Free! Always a good thing! :D
... damn my memory is already failing. I just remember a lot of stumbling as I attempted to walk under the weight of my rucksack. I remember: got on the boat, hung about for a bit, got off the boat, on a bus, hung about for a bit, got off the bus. Then I really started getting killed by the rucksack, in a search for somewhere to camp. To make a long story short (since my mind is wandering too much right now. It just wants to go seduce an elf, but I'll try and ignore that for now ;) ), we couldn't find anywhere, so we had to get on another bus to go to the campsite that we'd actually booked.
The tent was big. Very big. I decided to have very little to do with it's construction. Something built by me is rarely safe. ;) ... again with the gap in my memory... :S The next thing I remember is being at the beach with the portable barbecue that got gifted to us by some random other campers, cooking sausages and bacon (that had had a lovely dip in the sand. mmmm! crunchy meat! :S ). Then... heating? ... cooking? ... melting? ... something with marshmallows. Mmmmmmm! Sugar! Tasty! >D
Then off for a little dip in the sea. Slight problem of not a very sandy beach. Stones, barnacles, those little sea-snail thingys, they all kill feet! Li-chan really hated it, and that's where I got my injury (ok, at least I'm sure that's where I got it. It always takes several hours for me to notice anything ;) ). :S I did go in the water though... but then I got freaked out. Don't know exactly what it was, but when I got splashed, I couldn't take it. Saku wouldn't believe me when I said I didn't know, but that's her. I actually blame it on my fear of cold and water more than anything else. :S
Then the best bit. We make fire! Proper fire! ... well, after going through 2 boxes of matches. Ah, the miracle of a burnable rope! ;) Then they fried already cooked turkey tikka and frusli bars. And I set fire to Funk's shoe! ::sweatdrop:: Oh, the wonder of the flame! ;) Well, it was either my stick, or her shoe, so really there was no contest! ;) My gun-stick! Hee hee hee! Been going around these past 2 days K-style! If I had had more energy I would have been leaping in front of cars, point the stick at them, yelling "Hold up!" But considering I could barely stand most of the time... :S
If only the night had been better. I was zonked and went to sleep pretty quickly. Only problem was I woke up at about 6. Whether it was cos of the cold, or the fact that my bones were digging right into the ground (bloody sharp things! I'm gonna end up impaled on something one of these days! Ah well, it's 'protection' from unwanted touch! ;) ...only it backfires when it's wanted touch :'( ), or maybe it was the fact that I was lying on a hill and kept rolling onto the side of the tent (and that I had a Saku looming behind me, ready to squish me :S ), either way, I couldn't get back to sleep and took a wonder along the beach. I do like mornings. I just don't like the 'getting up' part. ;) But it was nice. Purty! :D Got quite confused though with the noises until I noticed the seals on the rocks. They were sounding like me window does on windy days! :S Not to mention the random really loud splashes off the shore. ;) Also spent time prodding various sea creatures. I found a two-legged starfish. At least, I think that's what it was. Just thought it was some sort of weird sea-slug thingy at first, but it's 'guts' (or whatever a starfish consists of) were falling out at one side, so I came to the decision it was 'incomplete' ;) Starfish can survive without legs though, can't they? I'm pretty sure I've heard that somewhere. I tried to help though (after many a prod and poke) and threw it back in the water. It went and wandered off under the seaweed, so I think I helped. ::happy::
I still had loads of time before the others emerged, so I even read a little. Decided that folk tales told poorly are terrible stories. Too unlikely. They mention random things that clearly have to be mentioned for something later on in the story but are done so in such an obvious way. I could write better than that! Ah, I have hope for my future as a novelist! ;) I'm annoyed that they didn't get someone better to write these stories. They could have been really good too!
Eventually (after a relaxing time sunbathing, during which we got more donations from other campers. Baked beans and tomatoes ;) ) the others arose and since we were supposed to be out of the campsite by noon, we started packing. I even helped with the tent that time! Destroying things are easy! ;)
I was pretty much out of it all the way back. I got up at 6! Give me a break! :P Got the bus immediately after packing. Once we arrived at the pier, the boat was right there, so we simple leapt on. Funk's dad gave us a life back. Another free ride! And lo, we returned to home! Excitement galore, ne? Well, out in the 'wildnerness', 'fending for ourselves'... maybe not exactly, but hey, it got us out of our houses! That has to be good! :D
I come home to be told that apparently I have to go to an 'identity parade' tomorrow afternoon. :S I'm half expecting it to be the wrong guy. I mean he admitted his crime. That spells not guilty to me! ... I probably watch too much TV. It can't be the most obvious person. That's too easy! :S I just hope my memory holds up for it. Cos I can't actually remember what the guy looked like right now. :S It should come back to me if I see him... I hope... :S
Li-chan let me borrow anime DVDs! ::grins insanely:: Me a happy happy happy me! Fruits Basket! High-quality me! Well... Shigure... but he's still me! Yay! Also Kenshin (samurai! kakkoi! ;) ) and Excel Saga (which I don't actually know anything about, but it's supposed to be good, and from what I've been told, it sounds like my sort of thing ;) ). That'll keep me going for a while. Not to mention I've got to try and keep up with my downloading. :S Ah, so much anime! I'm blessed!
I think I'm out of stuff to say now. Thank god! This hyper imbicile would like some sleep. Well, not now. I want anime first. But still! When I'm hyper, I'm sure blogging just makes me worse. :S ... ::suddenly notices the huge red rucksack next to her:: Oh yeah, and I haven't unpacked yet. Oh, that can wait! it's not like I have anything vital in there... ::thinks:: No... clothes... sleeping bag... torches... book... nothing important. It can just stay dumped there. Anime calls me and I've missed it! Although my mind has been wandering off into it's own little anime-styled world today. Yay! More toying with angels and demons, gods and devils! Me with power! >D And the best part! Fusage-kun! Damn irrisistable blond! ::sweatdrop:: That can't be healthy, but like I'm hell I'm caring! :P I'm outta here! Got 'things' to do! :P

::bounce bounce bounce spin fall laugh bounce spin glomp stick-gun collapse into chair and spins some more:: ... maybe Li-chan was right. Major sugar high! But it just feels so good! >D ::bops head in time with the Fruits Basket music:: Hee hee hee! Got K-style hair again! Always amuses me! :D Bob bob bob bounce swing swish!
Anyway for Kat's birthday thingy, 8 of us went to Culzean! Woo! Fun! Walked from one end to the other to get to the beach at the swan pond. Tiring! While they were insane and went swimming in the sea, I died and enjoyed heat! Ok, I kept hissing at the sun for being so bright, and trying to catch the grasshoppers that kept leaping onto me, but it was relaxing nonetheless! ;)
Adopted 2 new sticks! One gun-shaped, the other useful for both random slashing or as a walking stick. Yay for the glory of sticks! :D ::randomly points stick-gun at various objects around the room:: Ah, feels so good! >D
Let's see, what else did we do? I just remember a lot of walking. Gah, tiring stuff. So I endulged myself and ate a load of sugar! Hee hee! It can't hurt. It was only the doctor complaining something was 3 times as much as it should have been in my blood, and she's not gonna check up. She no longer seems to care cos I haven't seen her in months. I have a phsyciatrist and a phsycologist now! Wow! Ain't I special? ;) Neither of them know me in the first place anyway, cos I go into automatic innocent little girl mode when I go to see them. Bah! The fools! >D
Oh yeah, I learned I am in the newspaper. This attack thingy is going that far? :S They are in the search of witnesses so they have more proof. Still it's my word against his. Although my word may not be all that honest at times, somehow I can't see his story of me assaulting his mother being much of a good defence for him. :P
Also got plans for tomorrow going to Arran. Instead of the day thing, we will be spending the night. Yay! Fun fun! Echoes of 'nyerbil' spreading across the island in the pitch dark! Weh-hey for scaring the locals! >D
Speaking of my personal gibbering language, my mind has been even more fluent today. 'Banyai' and 'punyaan' and 'feenyishni', among many more have been going round in my head all day, even before I had any sugar! ::sweatdrop:: Probably just getting happy for doing something. Woo for the wonders of the something! :D
Actually, I think my sugar high is running thin now. Energy failing. Tiredness creeping in. Feelin' sleeeeeepppppyyyyyyy...........
But I need to stay awake for a bit longer. Need to frantically make more CDs. Can't download anything new until I do, cos only 1... maybe 2... episodes will fit into what space I have left. ::sweatdrop:: Need to learn to do this more frequently.... but that would require effort and working out file sizes to fit on CDs. All so much bother that I can never be bothered with, even when it's as vital as it is now. :S
Speaking of bother, I need to do that voluntary work. Least I can do that from home. ::pause:: And it's done. Only 1 email since Tuesday. Well, that was hard. ::rolls eyes::
I guess I should start getting organised for tomorrow before I fall asleep on my desk. ;) But first CDs! Then I can leave compy to work while I'm busy elsewhere. And I'm the only one in the house again, so the net is all mine! ::starts up Direct Connect:: Cos I'm such a nice person, I'll let ppl leech off me. That is if they even want what I haven't put onto CDs already. ::sweatdrop:: Well, they're lucky I bother using DC when I'm not downloading something myself. That's enough :P
I probably won't blog tomorrow. Somehow I can't see myself getting up extra early just to type random guff here. So I'll blog when I blog whenever that may be. You'll see! ... I'm rhyming... I'm outta here! :S

Well I just wasted away today. After my wonderful early blogging this afternoon, I finished with the RealLifeComics archive. Funny stuff! :D Then I had lunch and watched the first episode of Now and Then, Here and There. Looks like it could be quite good. No bishounen yet, but it's early days! ;) Alternate dimensions and mecha and all that always get my interest. >D
My exercise was a dog walk, like I expected. Against all advice, I took the same path I've always taken. The guy's locked up now, and I've never had any trouble my entire life wandering around in there. Plus, I have a stick now! ;) Dragging the mutt behind me, slicing at branches and singing japanese songs out of tune; it's a great way to pass the walk! ;)
I rediscovered why I stopped working on Anime Shelter. Streamload is evil! As soon as you actually try and use it for anything anyway. The catalog program kept timing out (well, actually it just plain stopped, but I'm assuming it lost the connection). I tried to do what I was doing on the site itself, and remembered why I got the cataloger. ::growls:: Talk about infuriating! So in other words, I didn't get very far with that. Anime Shelter shall remain unofficially halted for some time longer.
Did some artwork. That's the most 'work' I did today. Finished the basic colours for Ryusuke. Now it's a question of adding shading and lighting and making it look like decent CG work. What I would give to have the skill of others! I suck at that sort of stuff! Basics are what I'm best at. I leave the details to everyone elses imagination usually. But I'm trying really hard with this one. Afterall, this is one of my 'me's. He's probably been flattering and seducing the other 'me's to make me work so hard on his pic. Even Xilmin didn't get this much attention! :S
As for the evening, that was even more of a waste. I went on the search of a decent free downloadable version of Mahjong cos I got fed up of the Yahoo thingy loosing the connection and making me start over. I supposed that's my own fault for having so much going at once, but still! I have come to the conclusion there ain't a decent free version anywhere. I think I found one that's completely free (probably in 5 days it'll tell me to go buy or you're not playing any more or something), but I still prefer the design of the Yahoo thingy. Hmmm... I guess I'll just need to put up with disconnecting then. We were supposed to be getting that even faster connection, but still nothing's come of it. My dad ain't here just now anyway (gone again! I'm amazed I see him at all. And he's supposed to actually work from home! :S ). Plus, if I bugged him too much, he'd make me pay for it cos I'm the reason he's getting it. ::sweatdrop:: So I just shut up, put up with the problems I have and wait. :S
Rediscovered I like Blind Guardian. Haven't listened to their songs in soooo long! Sure, most of them are impossible for me to even attempt to sing along to (and that's always the best fun I have), but they're catchy... well, maybe that's not the right word for it. This is 'metal' afterall, not some cutesy J-pop song. ;) Oh oh oh, this one is mostly melody! The original song I found that got me hooked!
Nightfall
Quietly crept in and changed us all
Nightfall
Quietly crept in and changed us all
Nightfall
Immortal land lies down in agony
I'm somewhat irritated (to say the least) that the camping trip to Arran got screwed up. I'd been planning up to that. Building up to it, actually even looking forward to it! Then somehow it just fizzled out of existance... :S Ok, it might still be a day thing, but that's not really the same thing. :(
But there is going to the trip to Culzean tomorrow. Going to have to get up really early! ::shudder:: But I need a shower. And I refuse to have showers at night... or even evening... or afternoon if I can help it. So I'll just have to get up really early, shove myself out of bed, get hyped up with hyper anime music, and get myself moving. An easy way to wake up for me: leap off my bed. A 5 foot drop should wake me up. Either that, or I'll just break my legs cos I fall asleep on the way down. :S
Alright, I'm off. Various animes have been finishing today, plus I've still got more NTHT that I want to watch. Can't watch all of it. Should have an early night. But a couple can't hurt, right? ;) Mata ne!

I'm feeling cold today. Well, cold physically too, but mainly cold emotionally. I'm reverting back to my old plan for the future. I keep asking myself: "What was I thinking? Stay here? Ridiculous!" Ok, I've got the whole year at college before I need to make the final decision, so there ain't any rush. But if it weren't for M.E. I would feel up to moving to Glasgow now! I can still do my novel writing in my free time up there. There may not be too much of it. Uni is going to be tough, I'm sure. But still, learning about space, I enjoy it. Just as long as they don't bog me down with meaningless junk. I want to do that. So I need to keep the cold, heartless self, and head for dreams! Sure beats being emotional any day! :P
Had a cool dream last night. Something to do with wolves. I was this white/grey one, only I died. Yet I was re-encarnated into the body of a younger relative. :S Really cool though! There was a big battle between us and 3 other wolf clans. Each clan were trying to get hold of this jem that gave powers, and when in the hands (well, paws) of the correct owner would glow. But again the dream was filled with cold stuff. Loads of snow! Big cliffs with overhangs, icicles everywhere. Frozen lakes (the jems got dumped in one and I had to dive into it in search of one ::shiver:: not nice, particularly when a big black wolf is trying to kill me :S ). At some point later on, I became human though, cos I remember there was a big house, with battlements and winding corridors, zillions of stairways and hidden rooms. It was supposed to be a house that I had stayed in at some point in my life with the hill-walking club, but not one of the big houses have I been to that is that cool! But it's annoying. I know there was so much more to it, but I can't remember the rest. And it all was so great! :S
Why am I blogging so early today? Ah, I dunno. Must be really bored. I'll probably be back later with my wonderful mentions for what I did today, not that I expect that to be much. I'll probably just end up walking the dog, cos it looks windy, and it's hard enough cycling when it's calm! I think I'll go spend some more hours reading webcomics. I'm still working my way through RealLifeComics. Never did watch any anime last night cos I was wound up in that. ::sweatdrop:: Makes a change! ;)
Nothing else to say. Considering I haven't done anything except watch TV all morning, that's no surprise. ;) Well, it's webcomic time then. Ja!
